I haven't done this much digging ever. I had to get the spade out again. About three yar ago we put in an apricot tree. The neighbours have a tree in a similar position and it hangs low with apricots. Ours had some type of tree eating bug in its root system, so we are having another go. This time it is apricots and nectarines. I dug holes along the back to space them out from the lemon tree. Debbie has mulched, composted and watered the new additions. Now we have to ward off bugs, birds and beastly wind.
