We spent an hour recovering from the garden exertions on our rock bench at the beach. Now this is a quiet nook that needs a constant clean and maintenence check. This time there is a gynormous hole that has been dug in the pursuit of beach fun. It is so far up the beach that no tide has ever reached there so it has been left for others to fill in. I have seen this before and needed a shovel to get the job done. Debbie spent some time doing a slow kick around the edges but its going to need a shovel again. Not sure when that will happen as we have come to the end of our seven days of Sun. While Debbie was kicking the sand a turtle was uncovered, no doubt dropped by one of the diggers. Beach bling is part of the beach ritual and this turtle is very similar to the neck turtle Debbie already has.
