It takes months to get some deliveries of late. I won two bids in an auction 6 weeks back and have only just received the delivery. I have made a quick estimate of my costs, which works out to be 2c per stamp in one box and 3c per stamp in the other one. There must be at least 20 old albums in this lot plus packets of unopened stamps and many first day covers. It is always a mystery when you open some of these like the one illustrated below. There are many duplicates but the arrangement this time is for used on the left and mint on the right. I have not seen as many mint pre-decimal stamps in one place other than the post office. Any large duplication of mint stamps I have previously started using as proper postage but this lot is pre-decimal.
