We have a lot of burning off around Corio Bay when the cooler days are happening. You know it is getting cool when I can have pumpkin soup for lunch. You would not want to be landing a plane at Avalon right now. I assume they create a gap in the Avalon time frame to burn off. I spied a tractor going down to the beach but it was only down there less than an hour. I went to snoop out the story later but I could find no tracks and no sign of any action. The beach has recovered a little from the grass attack and I found quite a few little urchins as well. (Even though school holidays are over.)
