Originally there were going to be two stamp auctions on today and they are the two I generally pay most attention to. Fortunately one ot them saw the light and postponed for two weeks. I had two bids today and the first of mine was the third lot No 926 to start the second day, so was on full display for all to see, as the count down zeroed out to start the day's 700 lots. Fortunately no one else was interested, however my second lot needed more attention as I had to go from $90 to $110 to beat off the competition. This lot was a section of a retired dealers inventory. My lots were early and all done after 10 minutes. Much better than hanging around observing bids for the rest of the day.
