We haven't been to this beach for a while (years) and a hot Easter Saturday is probably not a quiet day. We got the last legitimate car park avialble and walked the 200 metres or so from there. We are used to walking that distance with the gear so it was no issue. This was a wave crashing beach that we have gotten unused to as well. But we got the hang of it again quickly. It was crowded but it is a big beach and it was low tide so plenty of room. As usual everyone else who did not have shade, who did not have food, who did not have a seat were looking and studying the setup. It is still a trek to this one from here but we went the long way to avoid the bridge at Barwon Heads.
