The gathering

This is one of the books I got for $1 the other day. It has been carefully covered in plastic like a school book from the reading list, which it is, as the guy who owned it is Luke Edwards 9A .  He left a 20 year old ticket to the Zoo as a book mark so that would make him 35 yar old.  This is a teenage whodunnit by Isobelle Carmody.  Laura left a much larger book by the same author which I haven't got around to as you can never be sure if it is a stand alone story, when the end cover list of titles has multi volume Chronicles here and triple volume Trilogies there.  This book features a fab five. It reminds me of a TV show called the OA where another fab five are trying to ward off evil spirits. This fab five are doing the same thing.  I think Enid Blyton was the first onto this Fab Five business.

  1. She's one of my favourite authors! The gathering is not my favourite though. I can't remember which one I left, but I think it was a standalone book that I didn't like as much. My favourites are the obernewtyn chronicles and Legendsong Saga.

  2. Alyzon Whitestarr. I think it is stand alone. I gave the 40 books into the Village Store today and I said I will have a quick look on the shelf for a book, taking just one. She said that will be $1 please.
