The Quiet Game

This is a whodunit set in the south of the US.  More like a cold case which was reopened by a returning resident who is now a lawyer and crime writer.  A tight web around the old girl friend, her corrupt father/judge, some bad cops and a newspaper reporter are all trying to keep secrets. Not to mention the former FBI man and the now promoted, dodgy FBI man. Did I forget J Edgar Hoover has a posthumous role.  The way is strewn with bodies before things are solved.
