Rain

It started during the night and has kept on throughout the day.  I had an appointment for some physio in Drysdale which would normally be a short ride but the rain was bucketing and the gutters were awash so I drove. We haven't ventured down to the beach but we could see the run off on the correct side of the groyne so all the sand should be intact.
