This Immortal

Still finding time to do a bit of reading although this one was easier, being a large text font and one of the few hard back Hugos I have found so far.  It tied with with Frank Herbert's Dune in 1966, the only time a tie for first place was ever granted.  So this one is in good company but is not as good as Dune.  There were no chapters in this book, just 184 pages of story.  The story line deals with a post apocalyptic nightmare but at least they finish up on the beach.  Even immortals need a sea change.
