I am not convinced about the need for these final inspections but it seems to be a requirement.  We drove three hours for a half hour chat. We did meet the outgoers who gave us a few tips on the running of the house. They were going to their separate houses and it all seemed amicable enough while we were present.  As for the other inspection, there were questions about the security light switch, of which there is none and requests for instructions on how to keep the garden maintained also of which there is none, except for common sense. However we will be writing down a few bullet points like mow the lawns, trim the hedge and sweep the path.
