We stayed in the Zebra Room overlooking the savanna. The evening meal was good and a bit spicy, in the morning it was a standard scrambled eggs, bacon and tomatoes. We had a behind the scenes look at the hippos.
Where does a hippo go to learn medicine? ......the Hippocampus. The whole place was built like Jurassic Park. Huge separation rooms for each hippo and steel sliding doors between each area. That was the end of our tour but we revisited the Lion's Den as two sets of cubs were playing around. They had not been born the last time we were there.

It was amazing seeing one hippo being fed and watered. Watching the handler rub her hands in her mouth. She loved it.
