Orne

Orne is a local region surrounding our village of Villeray.  We drove for around 120 kms today stopping off at various spots.  Two very old towns were Belleme and la Perriere. These have walled fortifications but still typically picturesque french.  We had lunch at an ancient cafe in La Perriere. A local delicacy is pork penis (see picture below).  We made our way back to the Flour Mill for a swim but we had the 5 O'clockers at the back of the Chateau.
