Chateau de Marcay
Just had a tour of the facility after an afternoon snooze. Lots of renovation evident here. We have booked in for the restaurant which looks elegant. The gardens are basic with a pool in the backyard. We are in the west wing. There are a few issues with old chateau such as endless stairs with no lifts and no air conditioning. I have a dodgy knee at the moment and stair borne luggage is not helping.
