There is nothing worse than getting a series of books out of order and some how I jumped from book 1 to book 3 in this lot. The stories are self contained but there are references to the previous volume and may even drop a hint about what happens there. I blame the covers. If somebody dies twice then have a coffin on there or if the bullet misses then have a bullet. These books all look the same, so does this mean I am judging the covers by the book. There is less of the retirement village in this one but the Thursday Murder Club does seem to be getting a lot more members.
