For the past week or so I have been threading and shredding Pure Bookkeeping paper records going back 20 yar. Now these were the days when you applied for a service on a paper form. You wrote on it Companty details, names, addresses, banking details, ACNs and more, everything that scammers would love to know. It seems that online security is not so good an option with all the security breaches that keep happening. This stuff is not going to be read by anyone. I have determined that the compact volume of paper to be shredded will produce an equivalent volume 10 times the original size in shredded airy paper strips. Maybe I should get a quote to get this done. Two boxes of paper does not seem a lot. The council here will not take shredded paper as recycling, in the yellow bin. They will take it if you bring it to them at the recycle centre, provided it is all enclosed in paper bags. Paper Warfare.

I’m pretty sure shredded paper goes in the green bin now. But I’d check with your council
ReplyDeleteOK good to know, that would be a good solution.
