Beach Walk

 Found a gap in the rain yesterday for a walk along the beach. I brought the trusty rubbish bag and we filled it to the brim.  Not surprising with the wind and rain. The good news is that the engineering works to divert the creek along the causeway have worked well this time. There is no overflow along the the old course. The rain was steady not forceful so the diversion kept working.  Now we just have to scrape the seagrass off the sand.  The water was dark with uprooted grass very uninviting.  We continued onto the Dell where the whole area has drained pretty well. Debbie is walking well to get that healing happening.

We were watching a show about Hamburg as we had spent time there and there is a woman who spends 6 months on an offshore island. She patrols the area pushing a wheelbarrow to pick up the tidal rubbish.
