Williamstown Fathers Day

There are a few Fathers coming today and we have not hosted any kind of gathering here as yet.  We have some grass out the back that we have ignored since moving in.  It was rather long and needed some cutting.  Debbie has ideas about replacing it with carpet style greenery but in the mean time we brought the trimmer.  This reminds me about the time I mowed the grass in Brisbane using a push type mower as it is about the same amount of grass. Now I am not doing that again, hence the trimmer which if you wave it around enough you will get a cutting action or more a hacking of grass.  The Karcher was also put to use to clean some brick paving out the front so the outside is cleared and now we have to see if there are enough chairs (which there aren't) and also if we can turn the oven on now that the clock is set (which they set on the wrong time).  Just been informed that the gardeners here will mow our grass for us. Hooray.

just like a mowed one
