Assegai

Another one of these Wilbur Smith Boys Own Adventures.  Always set in Africa although there was a short section devoted to Lake Constance.  Particularly Friedrichschafen where we visited the Zeppelin Museum this year. This was one of the focal points of the book, as the German bad guy was loading a dirigible with ammo and gold destined for African Boer revolutionaries who opposed the British.  Not only did the hero get the girl he got the gold as well.  One of these days Wilbur will change this formula.
