There was mention of a thunderstorm thismorning so we set out around 9:00am for a slightly longer ride than previous. We had coats and sure enough there were spots on us after 5 mins. We still stopped off at the coffee van where a kids party was in progress. I bet that is now abandoned. The ride along the bypass road still gives a good view and the trees planted there have shot up, we have not been along there for a year. Just as we got back the thunder started. I think it was a year ago we were riding the rail trail in a storm. We got back in time to miss all the carnage.
