The long running screen flicker problem is still running. The Dell guys have come to the end of software options for stopping this flicker so now they are coming tomorrow to change over the motherboard for a new one. It seems to me it was a new one in the first place. You can't fault the service time they have put in to track this down. Maybe this is the answer.
