Timing the sleep periods is the trick. Yesterday Rick was all set to get Evie to the playground and within one minute of driving she fell asleep and stayed that way for an hour and there was no playground. So we tried the old walk along the beach trick and after a few grumbles she was right into running full speed. There was even a face plant into the sand. She looked back and said that silly weed and kept right on going. Charlie came down as well and we had the beach to ourselves again. The breeze was ok and the Sun was warm. It took until 9:00pm after some extra quiet time to get her sleepy.
