Went across the road again this morning. There were clumps of grass floating around but otherwise good visibility through the water. It was a bit shallow but you can't have everything. It was calm and the sunshine allowed for a good sighter. Not many fish. One of the neighbours was doing some stand up paddling which tends to send the rays away.
The scanning continues and my new lesson learned is that where an envelope has both the photos and the negatives in their compartment, don't assume that they are the same matchup. EG photos today were labelled the Last Christmas on the back of some and the negs were Brendon and Cathy swanning around the Tiwi islands.
