The COVID scourge defeated us today. It seems the staff at the testing centre weern't even aware of the extent of the queue for tests after the orange zone was declared in Brisbane. They couldn't understand why all these people were there without any symptoms. Because of the influx the results might anywhere up to 48 hours so we just went home to do the isolation part. On the way to the airport I did spy the half ironman event that I was going to ride to before the covid stuff. Looks like there were many competitors. Now we will just have to sit tight at home for results.
