The best place for a walk in the rain is a waterfall. Along the way we saw the sign to Halls Falls so called in there first. This was a 3km round trip with some very large tree ferns. We passed the Pub in the Paddock and the Publican said there was a bus load coming for lunch. The St Columba Falls were big and had a 90m drop also with lots of large tree ferns. We made back for lunch in the Paddock and were almost finished before the geri bus arrived (Says he who can't walk very far).
