Swimming Jetty

Back in the day like a hundred yar ago, the Victorians came to the Dell to take the waters, mineral waters that is. But they could also have a swim in the bay if they went out on the swimming jetty to the enclosed pool.  We finally made it out there today for a bit of snorkeling.  It is very shallow as you can stand up in the middle of it. The actual board walk was very narrow compared to the other jetty.  I think timing a snorkel for the high tide will be better.  The so called sculpture park will have to be placed a lot further out if you are not going to trip over them.

  1. Very clear water for seeing things. Not many fish this time. Our closer jetty is better for seeing fish as it longer.

  2. It was lovely but might have overdone it for Neil during his recovery.
