Still Water Magnet

We were thinking this morning about going over to the beach tomorrow as it is a hotter day. When you look out the window and see the calmest water without a ripple and can see thru it clearly then its like a magnet pulling you over there.  We got out the flotation unit as in theory it lets jet skis know you are there.  We have never crossed the gap in the jetty.  We should have opened the packaging before we went over.  I broke the hand pump trying to inflate it but it was a crap pump anyway. The inner bag is smaller so I blew into it.  The rope attaches nicely to the bag but not to us, so we draped it around the snorkel of my face mask.  Eventually we got going but having got to the gap, I had used up my energy as I was not used to dragging this floater along and I was using my head to do it.  We still got  some good images. Deeper water allows you to see more fish but also the heavier the sea grass the less you can see.  We will have to cross the gap another time but I suspect it may be too deep to see much.
