For the first time we have properly used this contraption without it moving around too much. We have occy strapped the insides and used the professional sand bag at the base. As well the two handed screw mechanism has driven it full length into the sand. It wasn't a windy day but it worked well. I also went for my first face mask swim although I had no flippers this time. It was a stop start affair but would have been around 200 metres. There were waves and waves of V shaped bombers. They would break formation on the thermals and just circle ever upward.
