It was around 10 yar ago I visited Hamilton Island in January. There was a cyclone hitting the place and they said you have come during the rainy season and you should come back during winter. Today was 23 degrees but the local forecast is saying rain for the rest of our stay. Hopefully that wont be the case. We are in the Reef View Hotel, which looks to be an original built back in the day but there is a lot of room and the bed is facing right out to the WhitSunday Island.
