Cox Plate

I went to Medical One to see the doc about a gooey eye that was steadily getting gooier. It just so happened to be Cox Plate day. I have had a racing day on my list to check out what goes on there having never been before.  The Medical One was besieged by anti horse placard wavers. Also the SES and Rotary were everywhere on the roads and the street was blocked off just past the doc's entrance. Puckle St was going off. Every café had the all day breakfast going and there wasn't a seat anywhere at 9:30 am and all you could see was suits and fascinators.  Having survived all this the doc said he couldn't do much for the eye and just to clean it out with saline. 

I should place a bet on 'The Cleaner'
