Three days of grey and not 50 shades of it either, just one shade of grey. It means I can dig deep into some of these stamp hordes that I have here. Some people just can't throw away letters and with written letters and even cards becoming rarer, they are worth keeping but would you include them in your stamps and sell them to somebody else. This one is a post card from Israel doubling as a Christmas card dated 24-12-1980 . They are spending an all night vigil in Bethlehem watched over by the Israeli Army. Nothing changes. The painting was done by David Roberts in 1839. He might be a relation.
