The council has had a long running battle with the elements concerning the creek running onto the beach. Last night the heavens opened and really tested the latest form works trying to divert the creek from washing away the beach. I went down to check it out and found significant damage but not as much as previously. There is a dangerous sharp corner exposed which will need back filling. The water is still banked up and pouring thru the grate which is half the reason it has overflowed as it blocks up with branches.
