This is the 2nd Agatha Christie I have read straight on from the last one. This time it is Hercule Poirot and even when he is in retirement, still gets involved in solving a set of murder crimes. The killer sends him letters announcing the crimes, just to get him involved. It's one of those 'everyone gather around while I point out the culprit' type of ending. There are a number of films and TV series made from the novel, the latest being the BBC version in 2018. Not sure why they waited 82 years. I am scratching around to find something to read now. Our new library opens this week, they might have something.
