I have one of the spyglasses mostly trained on the rock groyne below and it was standing room only. I have never seen such an ornthologists gathering like this. I went down with my rubbish bag but stayed clear of the feathered friends. I went all along to the other end and back picking up mainly small plastics, a chewed dog ball and other small stuff. I was expecting the flock to have flown at any instant. I took some pics went up to the lookout and there was still no disturbance, so I made my way back. Then I could see a fisherboy on a bike coming along. One thing about COVID, it gives boys time to fish.
