As was previously reported, OUR beach took some storm damage when the drain clogged up and diverted the water in the wrong direction across the sand. This was around Christmas and has only now been repaired. A lot of the sea grass has been churned back under as well so even though it has taken 10 weeks the council has fixed it up. No doubt there will be another storm next Summer. The By Laws man was patrolling as well, and quizzed us about the number of cars parking illegally and also about the two buses that also parked on the verge. He was surprised when informed that 22 cars were parked consecutively and a total of 50 different cars, on one of the hotter days. Not sure if it means parking infringements in future.
